The Role

The Assistant Manager-PT reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for assisting in account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role involves collaborating with Acima retail partners to process credit applications, promote leasing benefits, and drive conversions. This position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The Assistant Store Manager-PT position is paid hourly, with a rate of $14.45-$16.49/hr, in accordance with Acima's payroll procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales/Account Management
    • Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins
    • Identify and fulfill customer needs promptly
    • Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, benefits, and application process
    • Close sales by converting applications, including in-store and web orders
    • Collaborate with partner stores on operations
    • Report to and communicate with the Store Manager about store and coworker activities
  2. Customer Service
    • Establish partnerships with retail store personnel for referrals and education
    • Address and resolve customer issues promptly
    • Maintain a positive work environment to reduce turnover
  3. Job Requirements
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
    • Familiarity with rental or leasing practices is a plus
    • Organized with good time management and multitasking skills
    • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Consistent in-person attendance

This is a part-time role with varying days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
