Summary Job Description

The responsibility of the Project Manager is to lead the project construction team from pre-construction through project completion by developing a project construction schedule. This position collaborates with field supervisors and subcontractors to identify ways to maintain efficiency, quality and safety.

Essential Functions:

• Conducts pre-construction meetings.
• Reviews project drawings and contract documents to ensure all specs and regulations are being followed.
• Properly administers construction contracts and subcontractor agreements.
• Verifies all required permits and licenses are in place.
• Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule from pre-construction to project completion.
• Tracks and controls schedules and costs to achieve completion on time and within budget.
• Communicates with salesman and/or project designer regularly for updates, changes, and general information.
• Performs other general duties as required.
• Fulfills expectations for project completion and meets or exceeds customer's expectations.
• Maintains ACI Construction’s profitability on assigned projects.

Supervisory Responsibility

Minimal manpower supervision. Assists in jobsite operations but does not have hiring or termination authority. The Project Supervisor is in charge of the field personnel and all jobsites.

Travel

Ability and flexibility for occasional travel is expected for this position.

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as on site at construction locations. The use of computers, printers, cell phones, telephones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines is required. Other functions can take place indoors or outdoors, sometimes in high, precarious places with fumes and/or airborne particles. The standard work environment has loud to very loud noise levels associated with various equipment, coworkers and phone conversations. Often work must be performed in high and/or cramped workspaces and awkward positions. The employee works around hazardous situations, materials and equipment.
