United Community Options at Early Beginnings Academy in Miami, FL is seeking a compassionate Teacher's Assistant (Achievement Specialist) to support students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will assist teachers with instruction, implement classroom activities, and help students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with children, preferably in school or special education.
• Experience with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred.
• TEACHER'S ASSISTANT experience is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Teacher with IEPs and classroom instruction.
• Support students in small group and one‑on‑one activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with communication, social skills, and daily routines.
• Help with meals, toileting, hygiene, transitions, and activities.
• Adapt materials to meet individual student needs and monitor progress.
