Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking an ACHD-trained cardiologist to provide comprehensive care for adults with congenital heart disease and oversee the transition from pediatric to adult services. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including adult cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and other specialties to ensure integrated care.

The ideal candidate will have MD/DO credentials, ACHD board eligibility or certification, and eligibility for Ohio medical licensure, with demonstrated

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and ACHD.
• ACHD board eligibility or certification.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.
• Demonstrated experience caring for adults with congenital heart disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for adults with congenital heart disease.
• Facilitate seamless transition from pediatric to adult care for patients.
• Collaborate with adult cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia and other specialties.
