Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an ACHD Cardiologist to deliver high-quality care for adults with congenital heart disease and to facilitate smooth transition from pediatric to adult services by strengthening collaborative care pathways with adult cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and other specialties.

The role offers opportunities to work within the Adult Congenital Heart Service, contributing to diagnostics, medical management, and interventional treatment across a spectrum of CHD

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
• ACHD board eligibility or certification.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state.
• Demonstrated experience caring for adult congenital heart disease patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for adults with congenital heart disease.
• Facilitate seamless transition from pediatric to adult services.
• Collaborate with adult cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and other specialties.
