Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support ACH payment processing applications in a hybrid role based in Buffalo, NY. The consultant will work on development and production support, with a W2 engagement through Sincera, a Virtusa company.

The role requires strong mainframe skills (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS) and experience with CA7 and batch processing. Immediate need with focus on accuracy, timeliness, and settlement integrity.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of mainframe development and support experience.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 and CICS.
• Experience with CA7 and batch processing environments.
• Strong ACH payments domain knowledge alongside mainframe skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications for ACH processing.
• Enhance COBOL programs, JCL, and supporting components.
• Work with DB2/VSAM data structures and batch processing optimization.
• Develop and support CICS online components for payment inquiries and operations.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot batch cycles with CA7; resolve abends.
