Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with ACE certification and strong experience in PolicyCenter, Cloud, and integration. The role covers development, production support, and full SDLC within Agile teams.

The candidate will work on PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integrations, cloud mechanisms, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate has extensive Guidewire experience, proficiency with SBTs, GitHub, Jenkins, and SQL, and excellent communication and

Qualifications

• Valid Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration (Cloud certification preferred).
• Experience with SBTs.
• Extensive expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration.
• Knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integration.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud.
• Understanding of Guidewire Cloud integration mechanisms: Integration Gateway Apps, Cloud APIs, App Events, GwS3, GwSQS.
• Experience in development, production support, and maintenance of PolicyCenter apps.
• Strong knowledge of out-of-the-box PolicyCenter and BillingCenter features.
• Experience with TortoiseSVN/GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience using JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing SQL queries.
• Experience in Agile environments and code release management.
• Experience with SOAP/REST web services, XML, XSD, messaging, and plugins.
• Experience with estimation, use case specs, tests, requirements, and planning.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Understanding of CI/CD.
• Experience with Insurance A&C (IAA) model.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
• Work on PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integrations.
• Develop, support, and maintain PolicyCenter applications.
• Work with Guidewire Cloud and cloud integration mechanisms.
• Utilize SBTs for development activities.
• Maintain applications using TortoiseSVN/GitHub and Jenkins.
• Manage defects using JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Design SQL queries.
• Work with SOAP/RESTful web services, XML and XSD.
• Participate in estimation, requirements gathering, and project planning.
• Support CI/CD practices and SDLC phases.
• Follow Agile methodology and code release management.
