Job summary

Providence is seeking a Regulatory & Accreditation Program Manager for the St. Joseph Hospital of Orange in California. The role collaborates with the Director of Risk Management to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations, and to prepare the local Ministry continuum to meet external standards.

Under supervision, this position helps maintain regulatory alignment and supports performance improvement and project management efforts within the risk management framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare-related field.
• 3 years experience in an acute care facility.
• 3 years experience with accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.
• 2 years experience in performance improvement, program and/or project management.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with accreditation standards and healthcare regulations.
• Manage functions to prepare the local Ministry continuum to meet external standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration or Healthcare related field.
• 3 years Experience in an acute care facility.
• 3 years Experience working with accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.
• 2 years Experience in performance improvement, program and/or project management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), or Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP), or Certified Hospital Accreditation Officer (CHAO), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
