Job summary

American College of Emergency Physicians in Irving, TX seeks a Senior Manager, Accreditation to oversee ACEP's accreditation and recognition programs, manage workflows, and supervise program specialists.

You will lead the accreditation application lifecycle, ensure quality improvement, coordinate site visits, and liaise with Finance on fees. This role requires strong project management, supervisory experience, and knowledge of accreditation processes; travel 1–2 times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Five years of project management or program operations experience, supervisory experience.
• Experience administering a workflow or database system and supporting system implementations.
• Proven ability to lead quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accreditation application lifecycle across all programs from intake to decision.
• Supervise Accreditation Program Specialists and align processes across programs.
• Oversee site visits, reviewer coordination, and accreditation decisions.
• Maintain accreditation operating procedures and governance materials.
• Collaborate with Finance on application fees and related processes.
• Serve as administrator of the accreditation platform and coordinate with IT/vendors.
• Provide timely support to applicants and ensure continuous program improvement.
