Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking an Accreditation Specialist to support compliance and survey readiness across the Owensboro Health system. The role partners with operational leaders to align with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant accreditation or regulatory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• RN license in Kentucky required upon hire.
• Accreditation/clinical program certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert consultant on accreditation, regulatory compliance, and policies.
• Coordinate activities related to accreditation, licensure, and surveys.
• Utilize databases and manage reports; train staff on systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve cross-functional processes.
• Participate in committee work to drive change.
• Apply quality improvement tools and data analysis for outcomes.
• Develop and disseminate educational content for staff.
• Assist in staff orientation and ongoing education.
• Travel to off-site locations for accreditation activities.
