My client is a very successful and well-respected firm of Accountants with multiple offices in the South West. They have continued to expand their client portfolio and now need to strengthen their team from both an audit and accounting perspective.

Applications are sought from experienced auditors who can assist with the planning and execution of statutory audits for a broad ranging client portfolio. They are also looking to strengthen their business services team and your duties in this function would consist of year end accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT preparation.

Applicants could be AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or actively studying, though my client will also consider strong applicants who haven’t undergone formal qualifications. A strong, recent track record in an accountancy practice environment is essential due to the technical nature of the work. Excellent communication skills are also vital as the role will involve extensive client contact.
