Cornell University invites applications for Accounts Rep V on the Ithaca campus. The role provides financial services, manages funds, conducts analyses, and ensures internal controls in support of 4-H Youth Development and Cornell Extension NYC.
The successful candidate has an Associate’s degree with 4–6 years of experience, strong Excel/KFS skills, and a meticulous approach to data integrity, audits, and cross-department collaboration.
The Opportunity The Accounts Representative V is responsible for providing comprehensive financial services in support of departmental operations, including the management of appropriated, discretionary, restricted and sponsored funds to 4-H Yough Development Program and Cornell University Cooperative Extension NYC. Key responsibilities include financial accounting and transactions, procurement oversight, student appointments, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and stewardship of resources.
This role supports 4-H Youth Development Program and Cornell University Cooperative Extension NYC, offering financial guidance to faculty, researchers, staff, and students. The incumbent conducts proactive and retroactive financial analysis, resolves complex issues, and communicates outcomes clearly and professionally. The position requires a thorough understanding and application of University policies, procedures, the best practices, and plays a critical role in maintaining audit compliance and internal control integrity.
