Remote, Nationwide – Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Opportunity

1. Review account notes and details thoroughly to resolve accounts.
2. Complete accounts receivable activity codes for all payers.
3. Collaborate with various payers on special projects.
4. Process write-off accounts.
5. Identify payer trends and communicate findings to leadership.
6. Handle payer and patient correspondence to resolve accounts.
7. Address denials and rejections to facilitate resolution.
8. Create and interpret reports to identify trends and resolve challenges.
9. Analyze reports for follow-up actions.
10. Perform financial classifications and write-offs as needed.
11. Train team members as required.
12. Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Competencies

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. At least one year of experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing.
3. Healthcare industry experience preferred.
4. Knowledge of AR processes, payer classifications, and denial management.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
7. Problem-solving skills and analytical report interpretation.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
9. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Salary for this position is $18.63 per hour.
