Job summary

Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the Finance department with financial operations and asset management. You will ensure an organized accounting environment under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance.

Responsibilities include invoicing, aging management, and coordinating with Sales, Events, and Front Office to ensure accurate billing information while maintaining guest data privacy in line with Accor standards.

Qualifications

• Accounting experience or degree in a related field is required.
• Previous experience in hotel accounting preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices for groups, events, corporate accounts and long-stay guests in line with standards.
• Verify contracts, banquet event orders, and rate agreements before billing.
• Ensure timely distribution of invoices to clients and internal departments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up to ensure timely payment.
• Prepare month-end AR reports for Finance Manager and Financial Controller.
• Maintain accurate client profiles in PMS and financial systems.
