Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 3+ Years’ Medical and/or Behavioral Billing Experience.
• 3+ Years’ Experience with Medical Terminology and Using an Electronic Medical Record and Billing System.

Accounts Receivable Specialist II – Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, the successful candidate will assist with the reconciliation of payments for patient charges and handle more complex projects, training and mentoring teammates as a Level II role.

Responsibilities

• Work current claims for rebilling purposes
• Correct errors on denied claims and resubmit claims
• Complete claims review projects and related necessary action steps
• Review accounts for payments and adjustments to ensure appropriate balance
• Proactively engage in process improvement on a continuous basis, including using available resources to resolve problems timely and effectively
• Train and mentor teammates
• Assist manager with tracking denial trends, claims issues, and identification of resolutions and action items
• Ensure timely, high‑quality work completion via tracking and trending projects and workload across the team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3+ Years’ Medical and/or Behavioral Billing Experience
• 3+ Years’ Experience with Medical Terminology and Using an Electronic Medical Record and Billing System

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm. No weekends.
