American Engineering Testing (AET) seeks an Accounts Receivable Accountant to support financial operations, manage accounts receivable processes, and ensure timely collection of invoices. This role partners with project accounting, operations, and clients to resolve discrepancies, monitor aging, and safeguard cash flow.

AET is 100% employee‑owned with ESOP and a hybrid work policy. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and strong Excel skills; experience with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including aging and collections.
• Review and screen new accounts for standard compliance and discrepancy resolution.
• Apply payments and investigate discrepancies (short/overpayments, unapplied cash).
• Reconcile and maintain AR records in the ERP system.
• Communicate with clients regarding balances and invoice questions in a professional manner.
• Support month-end close and provide cash-flow analysis.
• Collaborate with project accounting, operations, and finance to resolve billing issues.
