Job summary

Nucor, North America’s largest steel and steel products manufacturer, offers stability and opportunities. This role posts customer payments daily, matches them to invoices, investigates discrepancies, and prepares monthly reports for Sales management.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
2 years experience with ERP system.
2 years of experience with Excel.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2 years of accounts receivable experience preferred.
6 months of SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily posting of payments received from customers.
Match payments to invoices and identify discrepancies.
Communicate discrepancies to other departments daily and prepare monthly reports.
Respond to customer requests for information and provide invoices, proofs of delivery, and reconciliations.
Prepare and transmit monthly account statements to customers.
Maintain records and communicate about outstanding balances.
Manage collection activities and follow up on past due accounts.
Report to Credit Manager and prepare credit references as needed.
