Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a busy industrial Arlington-based company. This role focuses on customer invoicing, PO processing, and reconciliations, suitable for detail-oriented accounting professionals.

The position is full-time with a day shift, offering $25-$30 per hour depending on experience. Strong Excel and accounting software proficiency preferred; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ofAccounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeping, or related accounting experience.
• Experience with customer invoicing, purchase order processing, and payment application.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures, billing practices, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Review and process customer purchase orders (POs).
• Verify billing information and ensure invoices meet customer requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Conduct friendly and professional B2B collections activities by phone and email.
• Create and process customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
