Job summary

Riddle's Jewelry is hiring an Accounting Specialist for our Rapid City, SD corporate office. This full-time, in-office role focuses on accurate financial transactions and supporting daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting, solid Excel skills, and proven teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate with the accounting team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of basic finance, accounting and bookkeeping.
• Understanding of Excel and financial software.
• Strong time management, detail orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for documentation and correct coding before payment.
• Data entry for invoices and general ledgers, imports.
• Print checks and obtain signatures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Prepare sales tax reports and filings.
• Assist senior financial officers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Print checks and obtain signatures
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting
• At least 4-5 years of experience in accounting
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Understanding of and prior experience with Excel
