Med-Scribe, Inc. is recruiting an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist for a well-established healthcare organization in Oswego, NY. You will manage private-pay A/R, monitor aging, and work with residents, families and insurers. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week; 7:30 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Job description

Med-Scribe, Inc. is recruiting an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist for a well-established healthcare organization in Oswego, NY. This is a great opportunity for an experienced medical biller who enjoys the AR side of the revenue cycle and is comfortable working directly with patients, residents and families.

In this role, you will manage private-pay accounts receivable, monitor outstanding balances and A/R aging and follow up with residents, responsible parties and insurance companies regarding outstanding accounts. You will also assist with Medicaid-pending accounts, resolve billing and payment discrepancies and help ensure account and payer information remains accurate.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week; 7:30 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Pay: $25.00/hour
• Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
• Dress: Business casual
