Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a detail-oriented Payments/Receivables Specialist to support Lockbox operations in a fast-paced in-office environment in Cleveland, OH. You will process, decision, and apply customer payments to policies with accuracy, while coordinating with team members and maintaining compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in payment receivables, excellent communication, and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a payment receivable role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication.
  • Time management skills.
  • Able to tailor communication to differing audiences.
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility.
  • Able to self-manage and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred).

Job description

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Lockbox operations by accurately processing, decisioning, and applying customer payments to policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to reconcile cash and transactions, resolve discrepancies independently, and make timely and accurate payment decisions. The ideal candidate must be able to use a 10-key, perform data entry, understand financial procedures, and maintain compliance with bank and customer payment requirements. This position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple job responsibilities, work effectively in a team environment, and work in office five days per week, Monday through Friday.

The expected salary range for this role is $19.00-$25.00/hour.
