Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks an Accounts Receivable Representative in Emmaus, PA to manage assigned accounts, pursue collections, and resolve payment discrepancies. You will perform heavy phone activity with customers, negotiate payoff deadlines, and maintain accurate account status in the system.

The role requires strong attention to detail, solid Excel/Office skills, and excellent customer service. This position is full-time, on-site in Emmaus, with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' collections experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Preferred: accuracy, attention to detail, strong customer service, SAP and AS400 experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions and track assigned accounts.
• Identify outstanding debts and plan actions to recover payments.
• Maintain phone contact with customers and negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Investigate discrepancies and keep account status updated in the database.
• Alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative. Responsibilities include all accounts receivable related functions, including keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts; planning course of action to recover outstanding payments; heavy phone activity with customers; locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status; negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans; handling questions or complaints; investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good relationships with customers; updating account status and database regularly; alerting supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years' collections experience
• Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office ( Excel,Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet

Preferred

• A ccuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Experience with SAP and AS400
