Job summary

Service Electric Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to enter financial data into the accounting system and support AR operations. You will handle high-volume data with precision and maintain up-to-date account records.

The role requires 1+ year of data entry and AR or accounting experience, with strong Excel and accounting software skills. This in-office position runs 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, in Chattanooga, TN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years data entry experience required.
• 1+ years accounts receivable or general accounting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process accounts receivable data into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify data accuracy by comparing entries against source documents and identifying discrepancies.
• Research and resolve data entry errors and discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end data entry tasks to support the financial close process.
• Review and audit supporting documentation to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Other duties as assigned.
