Rentokil North America is seeking an AR Customer Payments Specialist to handle daily payment processing, posting to the billing system, and resolving payment discrepancies. The role includes refunds, misapplied payments, and supporting audits.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of data-entry/finance experience, proficiency in Excel/Sheets, and strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Rentokil family.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an office/finance environment with data entry.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable or transaction-based services preferred.
• Experience in cash processing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Process daily payments via checks, lockbox, ACH/EFTs and credit cards.
• Post payments to the billing system and reconcile with bank files.
• Research missing or misapplied payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle refunds, NSF payments, and credits on accounts.
• Prepare and send monthly statements to loan customers.
• Process intercompany payments/transfers/invoices and apply credit memos.

Job Summary

The AR Customer Payments Specialist is responsible for processing all daily forms payments - i.e. checks, lockbox, ACH/EFTs, credit cards. This role also entails working on refunds, NSF payments, moving misapplied payments, locating missing payments and working on credits on account. Depending on the company, it may require printing invoices/statements or working on collections.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Work with daily lockbox file to post all payments

Pull daily bank payment files to post to billing system

Process and post credit card payments

Research missing or misapplied payments

Reconcile payments back to the bank prior to posting

Check and credit card refunds

Research Delinquent loan payments, determine if need to go to collections

Assist with data needed for audit requests

Review/Process chargebacks and reverse NSF payments

Send Monthly Statements to loan customers

Process Bad Debt Recovery payments

Approve/apply credit memos and adjustments

Process intercompany payments/transfers/invoices

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in an offer environment performing data entry or other computer-based work required; prior experience with accounts payable/receivable or transaction based services preferred

Experience in cash processing preferred

Finance or Banking background a plus

Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets as well as Microsoft Office

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

Excellent organizational skills

Be able to work as a team and independently

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

High School Diploma OR GED required

Experience in finance, banking or cash posting preferred
