Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of computer operations and proficiency with spreadsheets.
Experience with SAP is preferred and government contracting experience is desirable.
Ability to understand new concepts quickly, organize work, and provide solutions to problems.
Knowledge of CAS and FAR and accounting principles is required.

Responsibilities

Review contracts and perform complex government billing and AR tasks.
Prepare inception-to-date contract cost, billing, and progress payment analyses.
Ensure invoice compliance with contract terms and maintain AR records.
Prepare and submit invoices to US federal agencies; analyze AR aging and unbilled AR.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
