Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for a 4-month contract in Washington, D.C. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with a pay range of $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

You will manage full-cycle AR, including invoicing and collections, using Sage Intacct, and support month-end close in a nonprofit setting. Qualifications include 2+ years AR experience, Sage Intacct proficiency, 20+ invoices per month, strong Excel skills, and excellent

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Process and track 20+ invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records within Sage Intacct.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and internal policies.
