Job summary

Calumet, headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst to independently analyze customer activity, resolve complex AR issues, and optimize cash flow. You will partner with stakeholders to mitigate risk, improve processes, and ensure data integrity across AR controls and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field and at least 3 years in AR/credit/collections, with strong Excel and ERP system experience, preferably SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or related finance function.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Experience with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze and resolve customer account issues, payment discrepancies, deductions, and disputed balances.
• Monitor risk and recommend mitigation actions to management.
• Analyze AR reporting (aging, DSO, cash) and provide leadership with findings.
• Own AR controls and annual unclaimed property review.
• Identify and lead process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Liaise with 3rd party trade reporting services and other AR vendors.
• Review and approve refund requests per DOA.
