Delicato Family Wines is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Credit professional to manage credit analysis, monitor AR aging, and ensure accurate cash postings at our Manteca, CA location.

The role emphasizes analyzing customer creditworthiness, collaborating with Sales, and maintaining accurate GL and month-end processes in a wine industry environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Strong computer, data research, and MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs credit and background checks on potential customers and advises management on findings and limits to be extended.
• Prepares formal credit analysis on new customers for management review.
• Monitors customer status to ensure appropriate release of credit holds.
• Reviews files, reports and financial status of existing customers ensuring current information supports extended credit limits.
• Monitors accounts receivable aging and recommends actions to be taken on delinquent accounts.
• Prepares daily cash application and posts payments.
• Investigates any cash receipt discrepancies.
• Customer account maintenance including write-offs, credit rebills and A/R billing adjustments.

Work Location Manteca, CA

Position Purpose

This position is responsible for accounts receivable and credit functions including but not limited to, invoice reviewing, accounts receivable aging monitoring, and performing, reviewing and advising on credit provided to potential customers.

Essential Duties

• Performs credit and background checks on potential customers and advises management on findings and limits to be extended
• Prepares formal credit analysis on new customers for management review
• Monitors customer status to ensure appropriate release of credit holds
• Reviews files, reports and financial status of existing customers ensuring current information supports extended credit limits
• Monitors accounts receivable aging and recommends actions to be taken on delinquent accounts
• Prepares daily cash application and posts payments
• Investigates any cash receipt discrepancies
• Customer account maintenance including write-offs, credit rebills and A/R billing adjustments
• Provides hands-on support to entry level accounts receivable clerks along with other accounting staff members
• Communicates any credit or collection issues with Sales personnel
• Reviews commissions invoices and approves for payment
• Assists with GL account analysis and month end reconciliation
• Reviews all accounts receivable invoices prior to delivery to customer

Non-Essential Duties

• Filing and other clerical duties as needed
• Assists with special accounting projects
• Builds working relationships with other wine industry credit personnel

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Skills in use of computers
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to compile and research data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is a Non-Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $23.35 to $36.55. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
