Zusammenfassung

Allstate Peterbilt Group in Minnesota is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to manage daily payments, apply ACH and other payments to customer accounts, and prepare payment reports. You will process payments from all store locations, maintain documentation, and support month-end procedures.

The role offers exposure to a multi-location dealership network, emphasis on accuracy, and opportunities for advancement within the finance team.

• Strong accuracy in posting payments to customer accounts.

• Apply ACH payments accurately to customer accounts, invoices, and open balances.
• Process and apply payments from all store locations.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets and payment reports for uploads and batch processing.
• Open and sort mail including remittance information.
• Identify customer accounts associated with mailed payments.
• Create and maintain check batches for payments from stores and customers.
• Verify payment details before entering into the accounting system.
• Make bank deposits and maintain deposit documentation.
• Correct postings and document adjustments.
• File and retain payment documentation and remittance information.
• Support month-end AR procedures with posted payments and deposits.
• Follow internal controls and cash-handling procedures.

Accounts Receivable Job Responsibilities :

• Process daily customer payments received through ACH, cash, checks, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.
• Apply ACH payments accurately to the appropriate customer accounts, invoices, and open balances.
• Process and apply cash, check, and credit card payments received from all store locations.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets and payment reports for payment uploads, batch processing
• Open, sort, incoming mail, including customer payments, remittance information,
• Identify customer accounts associated with mailed payments.
• Create and maintain check batches for customer payments received from stores, customers
• Verify check amounts, payment details, and supporting documentation before entering payments into the accounting system.
• Make bank deposits and retain accurate deposit documentation for reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Make corrections to payment postings when errors are identified and document adjustments according to company procedures.
• File and retain payment documentation, deposit records, remittance information, and related correspondence in an organized manner.
• Support month-end accounts receivable procedures by ensuring payments are posted, deposits are recorded, and outstanding issues are communicated.
• Follow established internal controls, cash-handling procedures, payment-processing guidelines, and company accounting policies.
• Protect confidential customer and financial information while handling payment records and account documentation.
