Job summary

GoHealth is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp) to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports. The role supports month-end close, reconciles vendor accounts, and improves payables processes using Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests for proper documentation and approval.
  • Sort, distribute and code all incoming invoices.
  • Enter and upload invoices into Workday for payment.
  • Process employee expense reports in Workday per policy.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor files.
  • Assist with month-end close and related reporting.
  • Ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance.
  • Support ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed.

This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. The Accounts Payable Specialist serves as a key point of contact for internal departments and external vendors, resolving inquiries and discrepancies with professionalism and efficiency.
