Job Description: Accounts Payable Professional

We are seeking a remote Accounts Payable Professional to join our team at KOMAN Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of the Natives of Kodiak, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). Our company provides environmental consulting, construction, remediation, civil contracting, civil engineering, and timber and forest management services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage email traffic of incoming invoices, ensure accuracy, match to purchase orders, and route for review/approval
• Process payments including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
• Handle vendor inquiries and manage relationships
• Process and verify expense reports
• Support audits with documentation
• Assist in preparing financial reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of AP experience
• Experience with JAMIS or similar ERP systems preferred
• Strong MS Office skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Ability to process high-volume AP
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
