Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel with PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience handling vendor communication and discrepancy resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, post, and enter AP vouchers and disbursements to ensure timely processing.
• Process invoices within defined timeframe for PO and non-PO invoices.
• Compare and review vendor invoices against purchase orders.
• Image and file invoices and supporting documents.
• Monitor AP invoice email and open/sort mail as assigned.
• Communicate with vendors and internal customers to resolve issues.
• Prepare W-9s, ACH, and related accounting documents.
• Complete and file new-vendor setup forms; maintain AP files.
• Participate in AP closing activities.
• Process check and ACH printing.
• Monitor cash projections monthly per corporate parameters.
• Ensure compliance with DFA policies and procedures.
• Keep supervisor informed of activities needing attention.
• Other duties as required.
