Job summary

X& Business Management (X&BM) is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for on-site work in Los Angeles to process and pay client bills accurately and on time. You will report to the Director, Business Management, and support Account Executives across client books.

Responsibilities include invoice intake, coding and approval, payment runs by check, ACH, and wire, vendor management, reconciliation, and year-end information returns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounts payable or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a business-management firm, family office, or entertainment company is a plus.
• Working knowledge of accounts-payable processes, vendor tax forms, and bank payment methods.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Organization and reliability. Payment runs happen on schedule.
• Clear, courteous communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Absolute discretion and the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Invoice intake from vendors and payments for every client.
• Code and approve payables to correct entities and accounts.
• Prepare and execute scheduled payment runs by check, ACH, and wire.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to payment status questions.
• Reconcile payables to bank activity and statements.
• Support month-end close and year-end information returns.
• Handle spending details of public figures with confidentiality.
