Job summary

Hayes Gibson Property Services seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee payables for our multifamily properties in the Bloomington area. You will process invoices, verify PO matches, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely payments.

Ideal candidates have a college degree or commensurate experience, 2+ years in accounting/AP, and familiarity with Excel, MS Office, and Yardi. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• College degree or commensurate experience required.
• 2+ years of accounting or administrative experience.
• 2+ years in Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with accuracy.
• Verify vendor invoices to purchase orders to obtain appropriate payment approval.
• Identify and reconcile variances between the purchase order and vendor invoice.
• Collaborate with vendors and associates to correct invoicing and receiving errors.
• Monitor accounts payable work queues to ensure all invoices are addressed.
