Job summary

JB Poindexter & Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full AP cycle at multiple locations including Houston, TX; Morgantown, PA; and Reading, PA. The role requires processing invoices, vendor payments, and month-end close with JD Edwards and Intellichief proficiency.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in AP, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. A degree is preferred and reliability for overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• JD Edwards and Intellichief experience is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices in a timely manner through Intellichief and JD Edwards.
• Route invoices for coding and approval and verify accuracy.
• Process vendor payment cycles and perform month-end closing duties.
• Reconcile AP reports and collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Communicate with vendors and maintain vendor records.
