LSI is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP, process vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and expense reporting. You will support project accounting, job costing, and compliance with construction-specific requirements while ensuring timely, accurate processing and documentation.

The role focuses on 3-way matching, lien waivers, and W-9s, with collaboration across project managers. Office-based in Twinsburg, OH, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience; construction industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles.
• Experience with job costing and construction documentation (lien waivers, AIA billing, etc.) preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Foundation, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar ERP).

Responsabilités

• Generate purchase orders and process high volume invoices.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper job cost coding.
• Manage subcontractor payments, including lien waivers, insurance compliance, and W-9 documentation.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching).
• Maintain organized records of all AP transactions and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and AP aging analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting staff to ensure accurate job costing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards.
• Oversee the AP inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Support year-end processes, including 1099 preparation.
