DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team in Tempe. You will help ensure vehicle inventory transactions, invoices, and incoming funds are entered accurately across systems.

In short, you'll play a key role in ensuring inventory transactions, invoices, and incoming funds are processed accurately and efficiently. As part of the accounting team, you'll partner with departments across the organization to support vehicle inventory accounting activities, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company procedures and accounting standards. Receiving vehicle purchase information and verifying accuracy across multiple systems.
Accurately entering vehicle purchases into inventory systems.
Researching vehicle inquiries and payments.
Researching and applying incoming funds accurately and timely.
Assisting internal and external business partners with vehicle-related issues.
Reviewing and researching assigned tickets and requests.
Maintaining, organizing, and filing appropriate documentation.
Ensuring transactions are completed in compliance with company procedures and GAAP standards.
Performing additional duties and projects as assigned.

1+ years of experience in high-volume data entry, accounting support, inventory administration, or a related field preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Proficiency with ten-key data entry by touch.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external business partners.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.
Willingness to cross-train and participate in ongoing professional development.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Previous experience in inventory accounting.
Experience researching and reconciling payments.
Familiarity with vehicle inventory processes.
Working knowledge of GAAP principles
