Accounts Payable Specialist

Simon Roofing, a leader in the Commercial Roofing Industry, is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our Accounts Payable team. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, have great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

• Manage outgoing payments, ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Review, obtain approval, and process incoming invoices.
• Match invoices with purchase order documents.
• Properly code invoices into the financial system.
• Prepare check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage company credit cards and resolve disputes.
• Work closely with purchasing to ensure correct coding of invoices.
• Assist with month-end closing and accruals related to Accounts Payable.
• Manage company storage rentals.
• Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and adjustments.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Maintain financial records by filing accounting documents.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Starting pay $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP (REQUIRED)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central

Education and Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
• Minimum two (2) years of Accounts Payable or related experience (required)
