Job summary

GoodLife Innovations in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all payables and monitor the outflow of funds within a mission-driven nonprofit. This full-time role supports the finance team and helps ensure timely, accurate payments to vendors and contractors.

You will train staff, manage AP processes, and track approved purchases, contributing to reliable financial operations that enable GoodLife's programs for people with disabilities across Kansas.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of accounting systems and office software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reconciliation skills

GoodLife Innovations serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Kansas. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all Accounts Payable functions and monitor the outflow of funds. Our Finance team is crucial to our organization by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations so we can focus on what we care about most: making the GoodLife possible!

• Performing all aspects of Accounts Payable functions across the organization
• Training support staff on Accounts Payable functions
• Tracking and initiating payment of approved purchases and contracts
