Medical Facilities of America is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Lakewood, NJ office. This role manages the full accounts payable cycle for multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring invoices are accurate and paid on time.

You will review invoices, code GL details, and follow up for timely approvals, while supporting month-end close and financial reporting with the AP team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounts payable for multiple healthcare facilities.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, including GL coding and amounts, before processing payment.
• Follow up with assigned approvers so invoices are reviewed and approved on time.
• Run the monthly check run, following internal controls and authorization procedures.
• Respond to vendor questions about invoices, payment status, and accounts.
• Review company-issued card transactions for accuracy and policy compliance, and follow up with cardholders as needed.
• Manage card reloads so authorized users have the funds they need.
• Generate purchase journals and review vendor statements to confirm all expenses are processed correctly before financials are finalized.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly and assist with month-end close.
• Support senior financial officers with financial analysis, reporting, and other tasks.

Medical Facilities of America is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Lakewood, NJ office. If you have accounts payable or finance experience, take pride in accurate work, and like owning a process from start to finish, we’d like to hear from you.

You will manage the full accounts payable cycle for multiple healthcare facilities, from invoice receipt through vendor payment. You’ll keep invoices accurate and paid on time, reconcile accounts, help close the books each month, and support our senior financial officers with analysis and reporting.

Pay and benefits

• $21 – $23 per hour, based on relevant experience

Nice to have

• Bookkeeping or finance experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

This role works fully on-site in our Lakewood, NJ office. Remote and hybrid schedules are not available.
