We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting various accounts payable functions. This role requires effective collaboration with Procurement, Receiving, and external suppliers, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Receiving, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure account accuracy.
• Monitor and respond to JIRA tickets related to accounts payable issues.
• Manage incoming mail and email communications related to payables.
• Support various accounts payable functions and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of high-volume accounts payable processing experience in an enterprise environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of how payables affect the General Ledger and financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across internal departments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with systems such as Coupa, Costpoint, Cognos, Concur, Exostar, IFS Cloud, and/or Analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
