CJ Hughes is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Huntington, WV. You will process invoices, maintain records, and support day-to-day accounts payable operations with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP. A high school diploma and a clean background check are required, with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in accounts payable and data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with QuickBooks or SAP preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to contribute to a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices, bills, and payment information into the accounting system with precision and attention to detail.
• Verify, reconcile, and maintain accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and support financial reporting.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity across accounts payable processes.

Qualifications

• Have a Valid Driver’s License
• Proven experience in accounts payable and data entry.
