Job summary

Midrex Technologies Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month, temporary role in Charlotte, NC. You will process PO and non-PO vendor invoices, perform weekly check runs, and manage payments across multiple companies in our ERP environment MTI.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in business, at least five years in AP, strong Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with domestic and international vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of five years hands-on experience in Accounts Payable processing.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international vendors.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process 3-way match for PO invoices in ERP system (MTI).
• Process non-PO vendor invoices in ERP system (Multiple Companies).
• Perform weekly check runs and ACH/wire transfers (Multiple Companies).
• Assist with 1099 maintenance and Year-End processing.
• Maintain large number of vendor accounts while ensuring policy compliance.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist audit requests.
