Accounts Payable Representative (remote)

Job Summary

Perform T&E audits and handle inbound and outbound calls related to Travel & Expense (T&E). Process vendor invoices within the agreed SLA or before the due date, manage and process multi-line invoices, rectify errors in the vendor master, and interact with Business Units/vendors to resolve simple exceptions.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure process guidelines are followed and met as documented.
  2. Achieve process SLAs, metrics, productivity, and quality targets within established timelines.
  3. Raise process-related issues promptly with process lead and team lead.
  4. Resolve process-related queries, expedite data requests, and escalate for resolutions.
  5. Adhere to shift handover processes.
  6. Follow security practices set by the organization.
  7. Implement small process improvement projects.
  8. Record data related to production statistics, end-user notes, etc., as appropriate.
  9. Contribute to the creation of knowledge updates and stay updated with process knowledge/changes.
  10. Ensure SOPs are updated.
  11. Provide updates and submit reports related to your area of work.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in desk or customer service roles.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in payables deliverables.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with PeopleSoft.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
