Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Accounting and Receiving Manager for The Huntington in San Francisco. This role oversees AP and receiving controls, analyzes financial activity, and advises leadership on vendor issues, purchases, and internal controls.

You will shape the monthly and annual close, resolve significant discrepancies, and partner with departments to strengthen financial processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Ability to evaluate complex accounting issues and provide supported recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP and receiving controls and vendor documentation.
• Lead month-end and annual close with attention to timing and accuracy.
• Assess internal controls and recommend process improvements.
• Advise hotel leadership on payment obligations and purchasing controls.
• Collaborate with departments to address discrepancies and risk.
