Job summary

Wendle Motors in Spokane, WA, is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join the Admin team. You will manage both AP and AR functions, ensure invoice accuracy, and support vendor/customer relationships in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of accounting experience and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay range of $22.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: review and verify vendor invoices; match to PO; reconcile accounts; file 1099s.
• Accounts Receivable: process payments; monitor overdue accounts; print AR statements; resolve discrepancies.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization
• Match invoices to purchase orders and post bills accordingly
• Reconcile accounts payable, sublet, prepaid, and fixed asset accounts
• Prepare and file 1099s in compliance with federal requirements
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, resale certificates, and credit applications
• Ensure timely, accurate payments and proper documentation
• Assist with monthly account analysis and reconciliations

Accounts Receivable

• Process incoming payments and maintain accurate customer account records
• Monitor and collect overdue accounts, including setting up payment plans
• Print and distribute monthly AR statements
• Resolve account discrepancies and process adjustments as needed
• Manage NSF checks and report activity to management
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and elevate issues when necessary

General Administrative Support

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Assist with filing, scanning, mail, and bank runs as needed
• Provide phone/reception backup when required
• Support cross-departmental tasks and special projects
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment
