Job summary

Wendle Motors in Spokane, WA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our parts team. You will verify shipments, maintain records, and prepare items for delivery.

This full-time, on-site role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Basic computer skills and ability to count, weigh, or measure shipments.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment with correct packaging and labeling.
• Count and weigh items to verify against records.
• Determine shipping method and arrange transportation.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and assist cost controls.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to move shipments.
• Process returns from Parts Driver as needed.

You will be responsible for verifying shipments, maintaining accurate records, and preparing items for delivery. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to our operations.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, On-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (hours may vary)
• $20-$21 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and take feedback
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• The capacity to stand for prolonged periods and endure outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wind
• Ability to move, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare items for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
• Count, weigh, or measure items in incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against records
• Determine the method of shipment and arrange transportation
• Assist in cost control measures by pre-sorting and batching outgoing items for incentives and discounts
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks to move shipments
• Receive and process unsold products returned by Parts Driver
