Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking an experienced Manager of Accounts Payable to lead day-to-day AP operations and scale the team with efficient processes. You will coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely processing of invoices and act as the subject matter expert for AP matters.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee reconciliations and approvals, and partner with finance to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting with AP focus and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with automation and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations and processing of invoices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely payments and accuracy.
• Develop and implement improved AP processes and controls.
• Supervise AP staff and train teams on best practices.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Provide vendor support and maintain accurate records.
