Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years AP experience, including supervisory responsibility.
Experience managing end-to-end AP operations (invoicing, approvals, payments, reconciliations).
Experience implementing or improving AP workflow automation and AI-enabled tools.
Strong AP governance, controls, and audit trails.
Experience with ERP and AP reporting; utilities/industrial context preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end AP process: invoicing, coding, approvals, payments, and reconciliations.
Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Monitor AP aging, due dates, vendor balances, and resolve issues.
Partner with procurement to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Drive AP workflow automation and AI-enabled processing.
Support month-end close and prepare AP reports; supervise AP staff.
