About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will maintain the integrity of our financial records, provide insights, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vendor payments and expense transactions, ensuring accurate and timely invoice payments and building strong relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Management:

• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Process and record invoices in the accounting system
• Ensure timely payments to maintain good vendor relationships

Payment Processing:

• Prepare and authorize vendor payments
• Manage payment methods including checks, electronic transfers, and credit cards
• Reconcile bank and vendor statements

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards

Vendor Management:

• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
• Implement strategies to optimize cash flow

Other Duties:

• Assist with audits and financial tasks
• Identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities

Compensation: $85,000 - 125,000

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel
• Experience with various software applications and best practices
